Global Humanoid Robotics Expo 2024 Kicks Off in Bengaluru with New Product Unveils - RobotWale News
Expo Launches in Bengaluru
The Global Humanoid Robotics Expo 2024 officially opened its doors at the Bengaluru International Exhibition Centre on October 15, 2024. Organized by the Robotics Industry Association of India in partnership with international technology forums, the three-day event gathers over 120 exhibitors from 18 countries. The expo focuses on commercial humanoid robotics, AI integration, and industrial automation applications.
Key Product Unveils and Pricing
On the opening day, several major manufacturers presented their latest humanoid platforms. Nexus Dynamics showcased the NX-4, a 1.7-meter bipedal robot designed for warehouse logistics and last-mile delivery. The company announced an Indian market pricing strategy, with the base unit listed at ₹42 lakhs for domestic enterprises and ₹48 lakhs for export configurations. Similarly, Seoul-based KinetiX Robotics debuted the KX-7 series, emphasizing adaptive gait algorithms for uneven terrain. KinetiX confirmed that localized assembly will begin in Tamil Nadu by Q2 2025, with unit pricing set at ₹38 lakhs for Indian industrial clients.
India Market Focus and Industry Response
A significant portion of the expo dedicated a pavilion to Indian startups, featuring six homegrown developers presenting compact humanoid prototypes tailored for healthcare assistance and educational training. The Robotics Industry Association of India reported that domestic manufacturers are targeting a ₹1,200 crore market share by 2027, driven by government incentives under the Production Linked Incentive scheme for advanced robotics. Several OEMs used the event to sign distribution agreements with Indian system integrators, aiming to reduce import dependency and accelerate deployment in manufacturing hubs across Maharashtra and Karnataka.
Expo Schedule and Future Outlook
The expo continues through October 17 with technical workshops, AI-humanoid interaction demonstrations, and B2B matchmaking sessions. Industry analysts note that the event marks a turning point for humanoid robotics in South Asia, as pricing structures and localized support networks finally align with commercial viability. Attendees can access live trial zones, vendor pavilions, and the startup showcase until the event concludes on Sunday.
