The HR-2 is engineered to handle repetitive tasks in assembly lines, a sector crucial to India's economic growth and the Make in India initiative. The company emphasized that the low cost is achieved through a localized supply chain and indigenous component sourcing.

According to CEO Rahul Sharma, the company plans to commence deliveries in the fourth quarter of 2024.
