The capital infusion aims to accelerate the deployment of its latest humanoid robot model, the 'Atlas-X', across Indian manufacturing and logistics sectors. Founded in 2022, the startup has been developing cost-effective robotics solutions tailored specifically for the Indian market conditions. The Atlas-X model features a payload capacity of 20 kilograms and a walking speed of 5 kilometers per hour, designed to handle repetitive tasks in warehouse environments.

Strategic Pricing and Market Accessibility

CEO Rahul Mehta stated that the funding will primarily focus on scaling production capacity and reducing the cost per unit to make humanoid automation accessible to small and medium enterprises. The retail price for the Atlas-X is projected to be around ₹45 lakhs, significantly lower than international competitors that often price similar units above ₹1 crore. This pricing strategy positions Nexus Robotics as a key contender in the domestic automation market. The company plans to establish a manufacturing facility in Tamil Nadu by the end of the year to leverage local supply chains.
