A new 'Humanoid Robot Certification Board' will be constituted to oversee testing and issuance of compliance certificates. Data sovereignty remains a cornerstone; sensor data collected by humanoid robots must be processed and stored on servers located within India, aligning with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act.

The regulatory structure introduces a tiered compliance system based on autonomy levels.
