The system integrates real-time stereo vision, six-axis force-torque sensors at each wrist, and a modular lithium-iron-phosphate battery pack that delivers up to eight hours of continuous operation under standard load conditions.

Enterprise pricing for Aether-1 is set at ₹45 lakh, a figure that positions the robot as a cost-effective alternative to imported counterparts from global manufacturers. By leveraging domestically sourced components and localized software engineering, Symbiomatic has reduced dependency on foreign supply chains while maintaining competitive performance metrics. The pricing structure is further supported by India’s Production Linked Incentive scheme for advanced hardware, which subsidizes R&D and manufacturing costs for domestic robotics firms. This financial framework enables Indian automotive and logistics companies to transition toward automation without facing the premium tariffs typically associated with foreign imports.
Deployment and Future Roadmap
Symbiomatic has already finalized pilot agreements with three major automotive assembly facilities in Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra. In these environments, Aether-1 will manage heavy component handling, precision quality inspection, and dynamic inventory sorting. The company will release a firmware update in Q3 2024 that introduces multi-robot coordination protocols and an open-source API for academic and research institutions across India. Manufacturing will scale at a newly commissioned facility in Hosur, targeting an annual output of 500 units by 2025 as demand from the domestic manufacturing sector accelerates.
