Fourier Intelligence Unveils G1 Pro Humanoid Robot with Strategic India Market Entry - RobotWale News

Official Launch and Core Specifications

On October 15, 2024, Chinese robotics manufacturer Fourier Intelligence formally unveiled the G1 Pro, a next-generation humanoid robot designed for high-precision industrial and commercial deployment. The G1 Pro builds upon its predecessor with a 30% increase in joint torque density, enabling more complex manipulation tasks and faster walking speeds up to 2.5 meters per second. The unit integrates a solid-state LiDAR system paired with a 120-degree field-of-view stereo camera array, allowing for real-time environmental mapping and obstacle avoidance in dynamic warehouse and factory environments. The robot also features a modular battery system that supports eight hours of continuous operation under standard load conditions.

India Market Strategy and Pricing

Fourier Intelligence confirmed its entry into the Indian market during a press briefing in Shenzhen, outlining a clear roadmap for regional adoption. The company has signed a distribution agreement with Mumbai-based automation integrator TechnoVista Solutions to handle local sales, regulatory compliance, and after-sales support. The G1 Pro carries a global base price of $40,000. For the Indian market, the unit will be priced at ₹33.5 lakhs (approximately $40,300), inclusive of import duties and applicable GST. TechnoVista will begin accepting pre-orders in January 2025, with first deliveries scheduled for Q2 2025 at pilot manufacturing facilities in Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra.

RobotWale Review Focus

RobotWale will publish a comprehensive hands-on review of the G1 Pro in January 2025, testing its payload capacity, battery endurance, and software stack compatibility with Indian industrial automation standards. The review will examine how the robot performs in high-temperature environments, evaluate its native language processing capabilities for Hindi and English interfaces, and assess the cost-effectiveness of its deployment versus traditional collaborative robotic arms. The evaluation will also compare the G1 Pro’s open API against ROS 2 frameworks commonly used by Indian engineering colleges and startups, determining how easily local developers can program custom workflows for logistics, healthcare assistance, and agricultural automation.
