Bengaluru to Host Asia’s Largest Humanoid Robotics Expo in November 2024 - RobotWale News
Event Overview
Organizers have officially confirmed that Bengaluru will host Asia’s first dedicated Humanoid Robotics Expo & Summit from November 12 to 14, 2024, at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre. The three-day event marks the largest gathering of humanoid automation specialists in the region, bringing together over 80 international manufacturers, domestic startups, and research institutions. The expo is coordinated by the Robotics Society of India in partnership with MeitY and will feature live stage demonstrations, technical workshops, and B2B matchmaking sessions focused on industrial and commercial deployment.
Exhibitors and Demonstrations
Confirmed participants include Boston Dynamics, Figure AI, Agility Robotics, and Tesla Optimus representatives, alongside Indian developers from startups such as Symbi Robotics, GreyOrange, and IIT Madras spin-offs. The exhibition floor will showcase bipedal and quadrupedal platforms designed for logistics, healthcare assistance, and hazardous environment operations. Daily keynote panels will address regulatory frameworks, safety standards, and workforce integration strategies specific to emerging markets. Live coding sessions and SDK access points will allow developers to interface with open-source humanoid control stacks.
India Market and Pricing
The expo places a strong emphasis on domestic manufacturing capabilities and localized supply chain development. Several Indian firms will debut cost-optimized humanoid actuators, torque sensors, and battery management systems tailored for small and medium enterprises. General admission tickets are priced at ₹2,500 for all three days, while professional passes offering workshop access and investor networking are available for ₹7,500. Academic and student credentials are offered at ₹1,000, with group rates for university delegations starting at ₹15,000 for ten attendees. On-site hardware procurement will feature a dedicated vendor zone where industrial buyers can negotiate direct pricing with manufacturers, with entry-level development kits starting at ₹45,000.
Registration and Logistics
Pre-registration opens on September 15 via the official expo portal, with early-bird discounts applying until October 30. Shuttle services will operate between Kempegowda International Airport and the exhibition venue, and on-site translation services will be provided in English, Hindi, and Kannada. The organizing committee has partnered with Karnataka’s industrial development authority to secure exhibition space and technical support infrastructure. Industry analysts expect the event to accelerate India’s integration into the global humanoid robotics supply chain, with several government-backed pilot programs anticipated to launch during the summit.
